Eight Indians Assaulted in Yerevan; Suspects Wanted

On February 24, a brawl occurred in Yerevan. Around 19:20, several Indian citizens reported to the Mashtots Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia. The individuals included 22-year-old Aslam Rabikiyah, 22-year-old Vasi Durairaj, 18-year-old Kameshwara Prabhakaran, 20-year-old Kevin Antonin, 19-year-old Chandru Sivakumar, 21-year-old Syed Imran, 21-year-old Sanjay Sinuwasen, and 21-year-old Disan Abraham. They claimed that on the same day at approximately 18:00, they were involved in a dispute with 23-year-olds Monish Girijachatin and Kirupa Kalyanan at 5 Halabyan Street, during which they were assaulted and sustained injuries.

According to the source, materials on the incident have been prepared at the Mashtots Police Department and forwarded to the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan Investigation Division for the Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts, where criminal proceedings have been initiated.
