Inspection Halts Production Activities of Two Kindergarten Kitchens
The State Food Safety Inspection Body's regional center in Lori Province has conducted oversight measures at the kitchens of two kindergartens operating in the Odzun community of the Tumanyan region.
During the inspection, it was revealed that the kitchen operations at both addresses of the kindergartens were being carried out in violation of food hygiene requirements. Specifically, the kitchens had uneven floors, walls, and ceilings that were not easy to clean and were not covered with waterproof, non-absorbent, or washable materials. Due to steam condensation, mold had developed and there was a risk of particles falling. Additionally, the external surfaces of the windows were decayed and lacked easy-to-open and clean insect protection nets.
Following the decision by the head of the inspection body, the production activities of the kitchens at both addresses of the “State Preschool Educational Institution of the Odzun Community in Lori Province” have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for addressing the violations.
