Avanesyan on Possible Corruption Scandals Surrounding Her Person

I am aware of the details of the case involving Mher Bisharyan only to the extent that the investigative bodies have provided us with information.

Regarding the charges against the director of the Forensic Medical Practical Center, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan stated in a conversation with reporters, "At this moment, Mr. Bisharyan's tenure has been suspended, and I am pleased that the court has decided to reject the detention request. Throughout this time, Mr. Bisharyan has never avoided any interrogation or investigation process."

According to Avanesyan, the alleged abuse occurred while she served as Deputy Minister of Health. "What I saw in the decision did not seem to me to be convincing evidence; the presented facts did not seem serious, but that is my subjective opinion," she noted.

In response to a journalist's observation that she does not have concerns that corruption scandals may also arise around her, the minister replied, "I have no concerns whatsoever."
