Accident in Syunik: Fuel Truck Overturns with Injuries and Fuel Spill

Today, on February 27, a major traffic accident occurred in the Syunik region. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

At around 12:00, a fuel truck loaded with approximately 23 tons of aviation gasoline overturned near the Tatev Monastery complex, under still unknown circumstances, rolling off the road and ending up in a ravine.

According to the site, two individuals were hospitalized with bodily injuries as a result of the accident. Citizens were the first to assist the injured before the rapid response team from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and firefighters from a nearby outpost arrived on the scene.

Reports indicate that the injured are a father and son, one of whom was the driver. They are citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The overturning of the vehicle resulted in a fuel spill.
