Iran Reduces Its Enriched Uranium Stockpile to 60%

Iran has reduced its enriched uranium stockpile to 60%. This is reported by Reuters, citing a report from the IAEA.

It is noted that Iran's uranium stocks enriched to weapons-grade have fallen below the theoretical threshold at which it could produce three atomic bombs. The agency also claims that a senior diplomat stated that Iran is currently producing up to 60 percent enriched uranium at a rate of about 9 kg per month. This rate was resumed at the end of November following a decline last year.
