Germany Suspects Russia's Involvement in the Murder of Russian Pilot Kuzminov
Germany's Interior Minister Nancy Faeser has announced that her department suspects Moscow's involvement in the murder of Russian pilot Maxim Kuzminov in Spain. This was reported by Bild.
“The suspicions are clear. According to the circumstances known at this time, it is possible that we are dealing with state terrorism,” she said.
She noted that Germany's security agencies are in contact with Spanish authorities. She emphasized that the investigation into Kuzminov's murder in Spain is underway with a "fervent" pace.
It is worth recalling that in 2023, Kuzminov stole a Russian military Mi-8 helicopter from Kursk Airport and transported it to the Kharkiv region. He was found murdered in Spain a few days ago. He had been hiding in Spain under the name Igor Shevchenko.
