Earthquake in Turkey
An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale occurred near the resort town of Kusadasi in Izmir Province, Turkey. There are no reports of damage, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).
The earthquake struck at approximately 20:09 local time, with its epicenter located near Kusadasi at a depth of about 7.7 kilometers. Meanwhile, seismologists at the Kandilli Observatory reported that the epicenter is about seven kilometers deep and estimated the magnitude at 3.7.
