The Most Important Issue is the Opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor': Turkish Official
Nu'man Kurtulmuş, the president of the Turkish Parliament (Grand National Assembly), met with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov in Baku. This was reported by Ermenihaber.
During the meeting, Kurtulmuş discussed the situation created after the 44-day war and addressed the issue of the 'Zangezur Corridor.' He stated that they are pleased with the work done towards the restoration of Karabakh after its liberation from occupation.
Kurtulmuş emphasized that in the near future, the most important issue is the opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor.' He stressed that the opening of the corridor would strengthen trade relations with the countries of the region.
Pointing out the necessity for a new prospect of establishing peace in the Caucasus, the president of the Turkish Parliament underscored that the Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia trilateral mechanism should continue to operate healthily, and subsequently, mechanisms involving Russia, Iran, and Armenia should be created to address the problems of the Caucasian peoples.
