SATM Conducts Inspection at 'Jermuk Group'
The Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia is conducting an inspection at 'Jermuk Group', the producer of Jermuk mineral water, to uncover the circumstances of a tragic incident recorded in the Russian Federation. This information has been provided by SATM.
During the inspection, it was noted that the produced food products are identical in name, visual characteristics, sensory assessment, and analytical methods. It was clarified that no materials or items not used in food production, including cleaning and disinfecting agents, are stored in production facilities, except for those necessary for the ongoing cleaning and disinfection of the facilities and equipment.
The raw materials accepted complied with safety requirements and had documents confirming their safety. The food raw materials and ingredients used in food production were stored under conditions that prevent spoilage and protect against contamination by hazardous substances.
It has become evident that no dangerous or counterfeit food products are produced, and there are no hazardous substances in direct contact with food. All grounds have been presented to substantiate that during the production processes of 'Jermuk' mineral water, procedures based on the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) are developed, implemented, and maintained by the manufacturer.
No violations were found as a result of the inspection.
