Teenager Crashes Toyota into Interior Ministry Building Wall
On February 22, at 02:43, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that an accident had occurred near building number 3 on Koryuni Street in Yerevan, where a vehicle crashed into a wall, resulting in injuries.
This information was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' rescue service. A firefighting unit from the Yerevan city rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It was revealed that a Toyota vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Sos A., veered off the roadway at the intersection of Koryuni and Nalbandyan streets and crashed into the wall of the building housing the Police Administration of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, damaging a lattice installed near the statue of Aram Manukyan.
Rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery, cleaned the roadway, and assisted passenger A. N. (born in 2004) by bringing them to an ambulance. The injured party was hospitalized at a medical center.
