On February 22, at 15:53, the Crisis Management National Center received a call reporting that an explosion was heard from one of the houses on Tabrizyan Street in Yerevan, and smoke was seen rising from the roof. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ rescue service.
Two operational teams from the Yerevan fire-rescue division, an operational group from the Crisis Management National Center, and a psychologist from the Psychological Support Department were dispatched to the scene.
It was revealed that, under still unclarified circumstances, an explosion occurred in a two-story house, leading to a fire. One person was hospitalized as a result. Approximately 4 square meters of the first floor’s interior wall collapsed, and the door to the balcony on the second floor and the window glasses were damaged. The fire was extinguished by local forces, and household appliances were burned in the living room.
