New Details on the Tragic Accident in Vanadzor
On February 20, at 3:41 PM, a call was received at the crisis management center of the Lori Regional Rescue Department reporting a traffic accident on Zoravar Andranik Street in Vanadzor. There are casualties, and assistance from rescuers was needed. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that a "Daewoo" vehicle (driver: A. K.) and a "Maserati" vehicle (driver: K. A., born in 1992) collided, and subsequently, one of the cars crashed into a parked "HOWO" truck (driver: V. A., born in 1993). The driver and the passenger of the "Daewoo" vehicle died at the scene.
Before the arrival of the rescuers, the driver of the "Maserati" was taken to a medical center by local forces, where the condition of the injured was assessed as satisfactory.
Rescuers removed the bodies of the driver and passenger from the "Daewoo" vehicle and brought them closer to the ambulance. Earlier, it was reported that a major accident had occurred in Vanadzor.
