Accident in Armavir Involving the Mayor of Metsamor: Injured Reported

The mayor of the Metsamor community in Armavir Province, 40-year-old Vahram Khachatryan, was involved in a traffic accident. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

Khachatryan, driving a “Mercedes 222 Maybach” with the license plate “003 HH 03”, left the roadway at the intersection of Ararat and Abovyan streets in Armavir city under still unknown circumstances. He collided with the stone fence of house number 34 on Abovyan street and an iron electric gate.

The incident occurred on February 21 at around 03:15. It is noted that as a result of the accident, Khachatryan sustained bodily injuries and was transported to the “Armavir” medical center, where he received first aid before being transferred to a hospital in Yerevan.

A criminal investigation has been initiated by the investigative department regarding the accident. To determine the driver's sobriety, a blood sample was taken from him at the hospital per the investigator's order.
