Azerbaijani Man Wanted by Armenia Returns to Baku
The Azerbaijani man wanted by Armenia, Kamil Zeynalov, has returned to Baku from Moscow. This information has been reported by local media.
Zeynalov, who was detained in Moscow for a few hours, was welcomed at one of the country's airports by family members as well as representatives of the media. It has been reported that during the 44-day war, Kamil Zeynalov beheaded an elderly resident in Artsakh.
Recall that Zeynalov was arrested yesterday at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport while returning to Baku. During his detention, he recounted live that police approached him and informed him that Armenia had issued an international search warrant against him since last May, and that he had to appear in court in Russia.
However, just a few hours after the arrest, his lawyer informed the media that the blogger had been released.
These events unfold 20 years after Ramil Safarov stabbed Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan during NATO exercises in Budapest. Azerbaijan managed to extract the criminal Safarov from Hungary and later hailed him as a hero.
