Samvel Shahramanyan Invited for Interrogation

The President of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, has been summoned for interrogation by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

“A summons for interrogation has been issued, but not based on any suspicions regarding actions taken by him, rather in connection with certain sums of money going missing and vehicles being misappropriated in Artsakh. Shahramanyan has submitted a report to the Investigative Committee regarding all these matters. He has been invited to provide clarifications based on the report he submitted,” his lawyer said in a conversation with reporters.

This is not the first time Shahramanyan has been invited for interrogation; he was also summoned to the Investigative Committee about a month and a half ago to participate in an interrogation.
