Azerbaijani National May Be Transferred to Isolation for One Month, Lawyer Says

The Azerbaijani national Kamil Zeynalov may be transferred to isolation for one month. This was stated by his lawyer Elman Pashayev to Azerbaijani media.

It was noted that during this period, according to Russian legislation, Armenia must transfer the documents to the Russian Prosecutor General's Office.

“A peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia has not been signed. Therefore, Russia cannot hand him over to Armenia under any circumstances,” Pashayev said.

Earlier, Azerbaijani media reported that Kamil Zeynalov, a citizen of Azerbaijan, was detained in Moscow at the request of Armenia. The Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs later confirmed that there is an intergovernmental wanted notice against the Azerbaijani national Kamil Zeynalov.
