A Staff Member of the Artsakh President's Security Detail Arrested

According to NEWS.am, a staff member of the Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan's security detail, Ashot Danielyan, has been arrested.

The Investigative Committee reported that on February 20, law enforcement officials detained him on Abovyan Street in Yerevan on suspicion of possessing and selling narcotics. "A report has been submitted to the Investigative Committee regarding the incident, and proceedings have been initiated under Article 393, Part 1 and Article 396, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. Based on the investigator's decision, the individual has been arrested," the Investigative Committee stated. They also added that an examination has been scheduled and necessary measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances.
