Video: Navalny's Mother Appeals to Vladimir Putin

The mother of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny has addressed President Vladimir Putin via a video message, requesting to "burial her son humanely." The video was filmed against the backdrop of the Penal Colony No. 3, known as 'Polar Wolf,' in the village of Kharp.

Ludmila Navalnaya demanded the return of her son's body. "It has been the fifth day; I can't see him, they won't give me his body and aren't even saying where he is. I am addressing you, Vladimir Putin. The resolution of this issue depends solely on you. Allow me to finally see my son. I demand the immediate return of Alexei's body so that I can bury him as a human being," stated the opposition leader's mother.

It was previously reported that Alexei Navalny had died in the penal colony.
