Lukashenko Calls for Readiness for War

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, announced that around 32,000 NATO soldiers, over a thousand units of armored equipment, and 235 aircraft and helicopters are currently stationed near the borders of Russia and Belarus. "The situation is not calm in Europe either, including near our borders. Within the framework of the alliance's actions in Europe, about 32,000 troops from NATO and the U.S. Armed Forces are deployed right next to Belarus and Russia. This includes more than a thousand units of armored equipment, about 160 artillery systems and mortars, and 235 aircraft and helicopters," he stated.

According to him, the Republic is effectively at the epicenter of a longstanding major geopolitical crisis, with old methods of intimidation being employed. He noted that the appetite and activity of the collective West will only increase, and the U.S. will continue to expand NATO, drawing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Georgia, and Serbia, according to Lukashenko.

"Let me say this directly, without excessive diplomacy: almost all European leaders have become subservient to the U.S. There is no doubt whose politics and interests dominate in the territory of the European Union," he added.

Additionally, Lukashenko called for readiness for war: "Belarus does not need war, but it must be prepared both mentally and strategically," he said. Lukashenko added that illusions regarding the possibility of resolving global conflicts through diplomatic means must be cast aside, as the collective West's position is clear: "those who do not stand with them will be taken by force." He also mentioned that the credibility of international organizations has been completely discredited.
