Illegal Operation of 7 Wells Suspended in Fish Farms

Officials from the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body have reported cases of illegal water usage during inspections at fish farms owned by Mikael Shahverdyan and Arsen Khachatryan in the Ararat region. It has been established that illegal water extraction has been conducted from 4 and 3 groundwater wells in the villages of Noramarg and Zorak, respectively, without the necessary water usage permits.

As per the decisions made by the head of the Ararat regional division of the Inspection Body, the illegal operation of the 7 wells has been suspended. Administrative penalties have been imposed, and a demand for compensation for the damage caused to the environment has been presented.
