Economic Growth Recorded in Armenia during Post-COVID Years, Babken Tunyan

According to preliminary data from the Statistical Committee, Armenia recorded an 8.7% economic growth in 2023. This information was shared by Babken Tunyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction and deputy chairman of the Economic Affairs Permanent Committee, on his Facebook page.

The economic growth rate was 5.8% in 2021 and 12.6% in 2022. "Thus, during the post-COVID three years (2021-2023), the real cumulative growth of Armenia's economy has reached 245%, with an average annual growth rate of more than 8%," the post stated.
