The Investigative Department of the National Security Service of Armenia has initiated a criminal case under Article 328, Part 3, Point 3 of the RA Criminal Code against two citizens who participated in the group 'Against 30% Georgian'. This was reported by SHAMSHYAN.com.
The individuals are Ashot G. and Samvel S. Both, being drivers of a vehicle with Georgian license plates and expressing dissatisfaction with government regulations regarding the customs clearance of Georgian plates, made public calls through social media in January. Specifically, they used the Telegram social network to participate in the group 'Against 30% Georgian', where actions endangering public safety were expressed, including incitements for mass unrest.
Samvel S. is suspected of making such calls, while Ashot G. is suspected of calling for mass unrest coupled with destruction or damage to property, which poses a threat to public safety. The preliminary investigation into both incidents is ongoing.
