Ambulance Overturned in Yerevan Accident, One Injured

At approximately midnight, around 11:50 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident near 9 Komitas Avenue in Yerevan, where an ambulance had overturned, and citizens were trapped, requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A rescue team from the special rescue operations center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a Tesla vehicle (driver: N. G., born in 1998) collided with a Ford ambulance (driver: A. A., born in 1960) at the intersection of Komitas Avenue and Vagharchyan Street; the latter overturned.

Before the rescuers arrived, an ambulance doctor was hospitalized at a medical center, while the driver received medical assistance on-site from ambulance staff. The rescuers cordoned off the area, disconnected the power supply to the ambulance, and carried out cleaning operations on the roadway.
