Accident in Ararat: One of the Three Injured is a Contract Soldier in Critical Condition
On February 17, an accident occurred in the Ararat region. At around 22:10, on the 45 km stretch of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, the cars driven by 27-year-old Artyom S. and 24-year-old Stepan B. collided. According to Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the drivers and Stepan B.'s passenger, 52-year-old H. I. from Ararat, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Artashat Medical Center, where Artyom S. was later transferred to one of Yerevan's hospitals in critical condition.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Vedi Investigative Division regarding the incident. Sources indicate that among the injured, Artyom S. serves as a contract soldier in the Ministry of Defense's N military unit.
