Restaurant Owned by Karen Karapetyan's Family Fined
Julya
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "The government has increased the penalties for violations related to the issuance of cash register receipts. Previously, a first-time violation was fined 150,000 drams, with subsequent fines increasing. Now, however, a new approach has been implemented: fines start at 200,000 drams plus 0.5% of the previous quarter's turnover (up to a maximum of 10 million drams).
Moreover, the fines are imposed ruthlessly, with around 700-750 organizations being fined every month. Recently, for example, the restaurant complex 'Golden Florence,' owned by former Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan’s family, was fined an amount of 1,117,000 drams."
