Reactions from High-Ranking Officials on Navalny's Death Statement
A number of high-ranking officials from various countries have reacted to the statement regarding Alexei Navalny's death. Journalist Leonid Parfyonov stated, “This is a political assassination.”
Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs also responded to the politician’s killing, saying, “Whatever you think about Alexei Navalny as a political figure, he was brutally murdered by the Kremlin. That is a fact, and it says a lot about the current regime's real nature in Russia. I sympathize with his family and friends.”
European Council President Charles Michel stated that “the EU holds the Russian authorities responsible for Navalny's death.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy remarked, “It is clear that he was killed by Putin.”
