A Citizen Wanted in Armenia Arrested in Russia

The Rosgvardiya officers have arrested a fugitive accused from Armenia in Chelyabinsk, who had been on the wanted list since the spring of 2023. He has been handed over to police officials. This information was provided to TASS by the press service of the Rosgvardiya in the Chelyabinsk region.

According to the press service, the arrest group of the Rosgvardiya's inter-agency protection department received an alert about the activation of a distress signal in the migration department of the Traktorozavodsky police station. They arrived at the scene and were approached by a department employee who pointed out the man.

It was added that the citizen of Armenia, born in 1993, who came to the migration department, was checked against databases. It was discovered that he had been wanted in his home country since May 2023. He was wanted by the Shengavit police department of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs as an accused individual who had been hiding from investigative authorities.
