Can We Trust Russia with Our Security Again? MP

Azerbaijan is lying in front of the whole world. Aliyev promised he would go to Grenada, then deceived us, saying he would go to Brussels, and then he stopped and said, 'Let's go to Moscow to sign a peace treaty.' This was stated today, February 13, by Gagik Melkonyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract party and former Deputy Minister of Defense, in an interview with NEWS.am. He added that one should speak to a liar in the language of a liar.

“But we have an agreement with Russia, the statement of November 9, in which Russia was the guarantor of peace and security for the people of Artsakh. What happened? We had certain territories in our hands that we abandoned without firing a single shot because we believed the promises of our ally, Russia, that they would be the guarantor of security in Artsakh. And what did we get? We got a loss of Artsakh. Can we trust Russia with our security or the 'Zangezur corridor' again? Of course, we cannot. If we are signing a peace treaty again in Moscow, what guarantee do we have that our security will not end up like that of Artsakh?” the MP stated.
