Accident on Yerevan-Sevan Highway Leaves Injured
On February 13, at 19:44, a call was received by the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department reporting an accident on the 36th km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, with individuals injured. This was announced by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The rescue team from the special emergency operations center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that two vehicles, a VAZ (driver: G. P., born in 1996) and a Volkswagen (driver: S. M.), collided at the 36th km of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.
Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passenger of the VAZ vehicle, G. P. (born in 1964), was extracted from the car by local forces and was subsequently hospitalized. The rescuers secured the vehicles, closed the valves of the gas cylinders, and assisted the driver of the VAZ vehicle to the ambulance, who was also taken to the medical center.
