Car Accident at Republic Square: One Injured

Today, on February 12, a car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 20:00, vehicles of Honda and Opel brands collided on Nalbandyan Street, near the main building of the Government at Republic Square.

As reported by Shamshyan.com, one person was hospitalized with bodily injuries following the accident. According to the media outlet, due to the collision, the Opel vehicle left the traffic zone and ended up on the sidewalk. Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda created a genuine 'ruckus' at the scene, refusing to comply with the legal requests of the police. The police indicated that he needed to undergo a sobriety test, but he declined. Subsequently, the officers took him to the Central Police Department, where he was subjected to a sobriety test and was found to be intoxicated at a high level.
