Biden Calls Trump's Statement on Russia and NATO "Horrible and Dangerous"

U.S. President Joe Biden, along with the President of the European Council, the NATO Secretary-General, and EU officials, criticized former U.S. President Donald Trump's statement regarding Russia and NATO.

Biden referred to Trump's remarks as "horrible and dangerous." He stated, "Under my administration, the United States has stood shoulder to shoulder with our allies to build the NATO alliance, which is larger and stronger than ever, defending democracy against Vladimir Putin's authoritarian aggression."

The President added, "If my opponent, Donald Trump, were to regain power, he has already made it clear that he would abandon our NATO allies and allow Russia to do whatever it wants with them."

It is worth noting that during a campaign rally, Trump announced that he would not defend NATO countries that do not fulfill their financial obligations to the alliance and would encourage Russia to attack them in the event of a conflict.
