Video: Polish Farmers Begin Attacks on Ukrainian Trucks
Polish farmers have started attacking Ukrainian trucks with grain. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication UNIAN.
"Polish farmers are attacking Ukrainian trucks with grain at the checkpoint," the report states. It is noted that the farmers are attempting to unload wheat from the vehicles using angle grinders.
On February 11, Andrei Demchenko, a representative of Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, stated that nearly 1,500 trucks have accumulated at checkpoints on the border between Ukraine and Poland due to protests. Previously, it became known that over 30 tractors have blocked the road in protest at the Leuseni border crossing between Moldova and Romania.
Additionally, Rada Deputy Yulia Klimenko stated that the new law on mobilization in Ukraine would allow authorities to seize equipment from farmers, including combines and seeders that are needed for the military.
