We Must Try to Reduce Armenia's Export Risks: Kerobyan

On February 10, Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan attended a working discussion on the results of the analytical report regarding Armenia's Export Strategy for 2025-2030, developed with the support of the USAID program "Economic Foundations for a Resilient Armenia." This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.

Also present at the meeting were Deputy Ministers Arman Khojoyan and Rafael Gevorgyan. The discussions focused on the vision and main directions of Armenia's export strategy, established based on the initial phase of the strategy's development. They presented the methodology of the analysis, the primary export goods and sectors, and the suitability of these goods for the proposed markets.

“Exports are the backbone of any country's economy, ensuring its competitiveness, resilience, and development. This strategy should aim to minimize Armenia's export risks, decrease dependency on political actions through diversification, and emphasize markets that are still unexplored for us. We must create tools that will facilitate market discovery,” highlighted Vahan Kerobyan. Upcoming discussions are also planned with representatives from the private sector and other interested parties.
