“This historical segment will probably be very difficult for the West to understand,” Peskov says
The historical portion of Russian President Vladimir Putin's interview with Tucker Carlson is likely to be hard for the West to grasp, but there are experts there who will rationally take an interest, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. This information was reported by TASS.
“It was obvious that Ukraine would be on the agenda of this interview. The President relies on a very deep knowledge of history, and his reasoning about history is based precisely on primary sources. He frequently works with archival documents,” Peskov said.
According to him, Putin's historical worldview is “not emotional in nature; it is based on concrete knowledge of primary sources.”
“Yes, this historical segment will probably be very difficult for the West, among Western viewers and readers, but there are a huge number of experts, a huge number of historians in Eastern Europe who will be very interested; therefore, this historical segment will have its audience,” the Kremlin representative is convinced.
