Norway's Defense Forces Must Prepare for Potential Conflict, Says Minister
Bjørn Arild Gram, the head of Norway's Ministry of Defense, has called for the country to prepare for a possible military conflict with Russia following the end of a special military operation. His words were quoted by the Iltalehti newspaper.
According to Regnum.ru, he stated, "Norway and the defense forces must prepare for a potential conflict. We must be able to respond in a timely manner in conjunction with our allies." He asserted that Russia intends to take revenge for Finland and Sweden joining the North Atlantic Alliance through some form of retaliatory strike.
"We need to be ready for Russia to deploy its forces in response to the alliance's accession of Finland and Sweden," Norway's Minister of Defense clarified.
