Peskov Reveals How the Decision to Interview Tucker Carlson Came About

American journalist Tucker Carlson himself proposed to conduct an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to the press secretary, the head of state quickly agreed to the interview with the Western journalist.

“Indeed, he came to us, he proposed this interview. We actively reviewed his materials, looked at his audience, and assessed how balanced he is in covering certain issues, and we came to the conclusion that we should indeed advise the president to go ahead. He agreed quite 'quickly',” Peskov said.
