Road Conditions: Rescue Service Reports

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers and difficult to navigate for other types of vehicles.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Department and the North Ossetia Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepanstminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
