Peskov Announces Mass Cyber Attacks on Kremlin Website

The Kremlin website (kremlin.ru) is subjected to dozens of hacker attacks every day. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the President of Russia, as reported by TASS.

He clarified that Russian specialists are managing to withstand the massive cyber attacks and ensure the complete protection of the site. 'There are dozens of attacks on the Kremlin website every day. For a year, every day,' Peskov said.

The presidential press secretary added that the Kremlin's website is also facing strong DDoS attacks. 'However, programmers are thwarting threats even from unusual hacker attacks,' Peskov stated, concluding that 'intelligence services are performing their work at the proper level and ensuring cybersecurity around the clock.'
