It Is High Time for the U.S. to Hold Aliyev Accountable, Says Pallone
Julya
“By ordering the attack on Artsakh last year, Aliyev violated international law. He has yet to face serious consequences for his genocidal campaign that led to the expulsion of 120,000 Armenians from their historic homeland, despite the fact that it was clear the attack was inevitable,” wrote U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone on his microblog X.
“It is high time for the U.S. to take measures to hold Aliyev accountable. That is why I am a leading Democrat advocating for the Armenia Accountability Act, which would end all U.S. security assistance to Azerbaijan and require evidence that they can be a reliable partner in peace negotiations,” Pallone emphasized.
