Video: The Zeytun Dormitory is in Very Poor Condition, Says Andreasyan

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia is considering organizing renovations at the Zeytun Dormitory after the end of the academic year. This was stated by the head of the agency, Zhanna Andreasyan, during a press conference.

“The Zeytun Dormitory is in very poor condition, and there is a need to ensure basic living conditions there. The ministry has not made any decisions regarding the relocation of students. The entire process will be organized in a way that finds the most suitable options from the perspective of student living conditions,” said the minister.

Andreasyan noted that the renovations at the dormitory are planned to be funded by the state budget, and the relevant tenders have already been held, with construction expected to commence soon. Regarding the accommodation issues of the students living there, the ministry is discussing organizing the renovations after the academic year to avoid current problems.
