Video: Military Munitions Discovered in Basement, 43-Year-Old Man Arrested

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ararat Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that a 43-year-old resident of a building on Kanjyan Street in Ararat had constructed an illegal structure in his basement. On February 5, around noon, they visited the specified address for inspection, where they noticed boxes containing munitions in the visible area of the basement.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Vedi Investigative Division. Officers and investigators from the Ararat Division conducted an examination and discovered 37 kilograms of TNT, electric detonators, 56 bullets of various types, 20 detonators, and more in the basement. The 43-year-old man was arrested and brought to the Vedi Investigative Division, and subsequently transferred to the detention facility of the Ararat Division.

The documents prepared have been sent to the Vedi Investigative Division.
