VIDEO: Iceland's Volcano Erupts Again; Footage Released

A volcanic eruption has begun on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland on the morning of February 8. Footage has been shared online.
According to a statement from the Icelandic Meteorological Office (IMO), "An intense, minor earthquake began at 05:30 AM in the area from Siliingarfell (a peak in southwestern Iceland) to the northeast. Approximately 30 minutes later, an eruption began in the same area." In the photographs and videos posted on various platforms, it is visible that lava is flowing from the crater, illuminating the column of smoke rising into the night sky.
