Russia's Role in Armenian-Azerbaijani Regulation Is Unquestionable: Galuzin
Russia's role in the Armenian-Azerbaijani regulation is unquestionable. This was stated by Mikhail Galuzin, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister, in an interview with the 'Rossiya 24' television channel, addressing the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace negotiations and the regulation process.
Galuzin emphasized that Russia's current task is to assist its partners, Armenia and Azerbaijan, in achieving a stable trajectory of reconciliation and peaceful interaction, so that the situation in the region remains stable.
“It was under Russia's auspices, initiated by President Vladimir Putin, that the foundations for regulation between Armenia and Azerbaijan were established,” the Deputy Foreign Minister highlighted. He noted that Russia is providing support across the entire spectrum of issues related to the signing of a peace treaty.
Galuzin added that Russia offers its advisory services regarding the demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, as it possesses geographical materials. The diplomat expressed hope that instead of involving external players, Armenia would return to trilateral regulation. He also stated that Moscow is always ready to provide a platform for dialogue.
