Ashot Hovhannisyan and Lili Mkryan Refuse to Provide Testimonies

The arrest of Ani Gevorgyan, the wife of the brother of National Assembly President Alen Simonian, has led to an appeal against the court's decision to choose detention as a preventive measure. This was reported to 'Factinfo' by attorney Mushegh Aleksanyan, who refrained from providing further details.

In the same case, Ashot Hovhannisyan, the head of the 'Synergy' company, and Lili Mkryan, an employee of the same company, have had their attorneys, Eric Aleksanyan, share that they received the court's decisions today and are preparing to file appeals. Both Hovhannisyan and Mkryan do not accept the charges and have refused to provide testimonies.

It is noteworthy that seven individuals are being prosecuted in this criminal case, with three currently in custody, while the Deputy Minister of Economy, Ani Ispriyanyan, has been placed under house arrest as a preventive measure.
