Video: Russian Cosmonaut Sets World Record for Time Spent in Space

Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko has set a world record for time spent in space, according to local media reports.

Participating in a year-long mission aboard the International Space Station, cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko has become a world record holder, having spent a total of 878 days and 11 hours in space. He has surpassed the previous record held by compatriot Gennady Padalka.
