Video: Reconstruction of the Kajaran-Agarak Road Has Begun

The reconstruction of the 32 km stretch of the Kajaran-Agarak road (border with Iran) under Tranche 4 of the North-South Road Corridor has officially commenced. The contracting organization, consisting of two Iranian construction companies – 'Abad Rahan Pars International Group' and 'Tunnel Sadd Ariana', is currently engaged in mobilization and preparatory works, establishing a construction base, and importing construction equipment.

In the Kajaran-Agarak section, the project plans to reconstruct 32 km of road, build 17 bridges, and construct 2 tunnels (approximately 900 meters in total length), alongside 5 transportation hubs. As a result, this segment will be upgraded to meet European standards intended for highways.
