Kyiv May Relocate to Lviv, Says Former Pentagon Official

The capital of Ukraine may be moved from Kyiv to Lviv. This was stated by Stephen Bryan, a former assistant to the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense.

In an article for the Weapons and Strategy website, he noted that after the Russian army breaches the contact line, 'it will be practically impossible for Ukrainian authorities to survive in Kyiv.'

'There are already signs that the Ukrainian government is planning to move westward, possibly to Lviv,' he said.

Earlier, British expert Alexander Mercouris expressed the opinion that the Russian armed forces in the special operation zone are under the control of professionals.
