IDF Has Destroyed 17 of Hamas's 24 Battalions, Says Netanyahu

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has destroyed 17 of Hamas's 24 battalions. This was announced by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The remaining battalions are primarily located in the southern Gaza Strip and Rafah, and the Israeli army is working towards neutralizing them.

Earlier reports indicated that at the beginning of the October 2023 war, Hamas consisted of 30,000 militants distributed among 24 battalions.
