In 2023, Armenia's Trade with EAEU Grew, Says Pashinyan

Analysis of key economic indicators shows that EAEU countries are confidently moving along a trajectory of sustainable economic growth. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty.

“In 2023, Armenia's trade turnover with EAEU countries has increased by 39% compared to the previous year, amounting to approximately $7.8 billion. Furthermore, exports grew by 40.8%, while imports increased by 37.5%,” said Pashinyan.

According to him, at this stage, strengthening sectoral cooperation, creating new business connections, and regulating cross-border trade through the use of digital services and data exchange should be priorities for the EAEU.

It should be noted that we previously reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in the Republic of Kazakhstan on a working visit. He will co-chair the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty today.
