Horse Fatally Injured in Yerevan's Isakov Avenue Incident

One of the horses involved in a hit-and-run incident on Isakov Avenue in Yerevan, in the direction of Argavand, has died. The owner of the horse, Ali Kasoyan, confirmed this in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia.

On January 24, footage circulated online showing two horses, one of which had broken hind legs. In one video, the horses were seen in the middle of the street in a helpless state, while in another, they had been moved to the sidewalk.

"The horse has died. Initially, they put a cast on its legs because they were broken, but it was not possible to save it as it had bled out. You see, animals are more vulnerable when they have fractures. The other horse is fine; everything is okay with it," said Kasoyan.

He emphasized that the horses are kept in the Dalma Gardens, but he does not know how his animals ended up on Isakov Avenue. Kasoyan only mentioned that the ropes tied around their necks had been cut. He assumes that either someone tried to take them from the area or children were playing and inadvertently released the horses.

It is noteworthy that the owner of the horses was located approximately two hours after the incident, after which the animals were transported from the scene.
